Diane’s extensive television work has earned her the enviable description "Presenter across boundaries”.
TV credits include Songs of Praise, Blue Peter, Out & About, Bright Sparks, Grandstand and Dream Ticket. Her love of people and ability to think on her feet are quantities that have made Diane the right choice for “live”, high profile events such as the BBC’s Millennium Extravaganza, Music Live and Children in Need as well as hosting a number of radio shows.
Diane’s wealth of skills are invaluable when presenting live events such as the National Training Awards, the EMMA Awards and 80 Years of BBC Religion.
‘Presenter’ however, tells only a small part of the story. Diane has a wealth of business acumen. She has run her own property company for the last 10 years and as an accomplished speaker launched Chronicle21, offering bespoke talks and training. Diane is able to bring innovative and thought provoking ideas that make a real difference both in the lives of individuals and companies. Invited to speak at corporate conferences, workshops and high profile charity events, Diane is able to challenge and inspire audiences from every walk of life, regardless of experience or social background.
Diane’s books include “How to Succeed as a Single Parent” and “So Why do they call it Chemistry?” highlighting extraordinary relationships from business to personal.
Diane devotes many hours to her charities, all reflecting issues close to her heart. She is Vice President of NCH and Patron of many other organisations including The Oasis Trust and Mildmay Aids Hospital. Her wide reaching appeal was a deciding factor in Chancellor Gordon Brown’s invitation to sit on the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Committee. She is also very proud to be a trustee for the BBC’s long running and hugely successful Children in Need Appeal and is also trustee for The Chicken Shed Theatre Company.
Diane’s underlying passion to encourage and inspire all people to be “the best they can be” means she seizes every opportunity to engage with all, young and old alike.
