Debbie has had the dubious honour of being the only actress in the UK who has appeared in every major TV soap in the last 30 years as a regular character! And recently returned to ‘Coronation Street' as yet another character – Carole Evans, landlady of the Weatherfield Arms – so the circle could all start again!

She has worked with everyone from The Two Ronnies to Omar Sharif with whom she starred opposite in the award winning production of ‘The Sleeping Prince' at Chichester Festival theatre the and Haymarket Theatre London. Ronnie Barker wrote Volumptia Goodbody for her in the Ronnies film ‘Village of the Smiths'.

She has appeared in over 400 Tv shows most recently ‘Holby', ‘Doctors' and of course ‘Coronation Street'.

Debbie has also spearheaded many campaigns as a top voiceover artiste for the last 25 years and at one point had her own voice agency!
She is a director of Debbie Arnold Productions, and is currently in development with major tv and theatre projects – currently ‘Truth, Lies Diana' at the Charring Cross Theatre and ‘A Night at the Prom' shortly to open in the West End.

She has also penned many beauty articles to a number of magazines including ‘Hello' and ‘Ok ‘and had a regular column in Lancashire Magazine.

A mother to two daughters both of whom are following in the family tradition…Ciara Janson an established actress and voice artiste, and Talia Janson who is a singer and voice artiste. She also is glammie to her grandson Archie.
Acclaimed actress Debbie Arnold has many other strings to her bow and they include being an entertaining speaker, an author, an event host, a beauty writer, a brand ambassador, a radio host and voice over artiste. She is also regularly called upon to host corporate events. ,
