She started her journalistic career in Australia on The Sydney Morning Herald before going on to work as a TV reporter at Channel 7 TV and later as an interviewer on their morning show. Upon her return to the UK Carol continued to work as a radio broadcaster and TV presenter; her most recent documentary was 2005’s 30 Minutes: What Tony Could Learn From the Iron Lady for Channel 4.
In November 2005 Carol starred in the popular ITV series I'm a Celebrity Get Me out of Here. Where amongst other things she took part in one of the more famous Bushtucker Trials and ended up eating bugs and kangaroo testicles.
Carol has appearanced on a number of programmes over the years including So Graham Norton, Richard and Judy and The Wright Stuff and she is a brilliant choice for after dinner speaking.
