Her material can be tailored to specific companies/sectors and is of practical, tangible, immediate use to audiences. Her sessions are engaging and interactive, providing a lively interlude from an otherwise ‘dry’ agenda!
Jayne’s expertise is based on a unique range of experience including: live voice-over announcing on BBC TV; business and financial reporting on BBC World; fronting corporate programmes for blue-chip companies; working in one of the world’s leading branding agencies – Wolff Olins. Her BBC TV series on Mexico was nominated for a BAFTA; voice-over credits include Sony and Channel 4 and she has written for Condé Nast Traveller and Good Housekeeping. She learned journalism at the LCP, has an acting diploma from the Royal Academy of Music and a Modern Languages degree from Cambridge.
Jayne has considerable experience facilitating events large and small – conferences, roadshows, seminars and awards ceremonies. She excels at gauging the tone of an event, tailoring her script and performance accordingly, and making a real connection with the audience. She can ad-lib and, after years on live television, thrives on the ‘seat of pants’ nature of some events. She loves working in a team, and is happy to muck in wherever needed.
Jayne is skilled at handling Q&A sessions, panel discussions, interactive technology and one-to-one interviews. She puts interviewees at their ease and enables them to shine while at the same time making sure that the overall objectives of the event are met and that it finishes on time!
With her background in corporate and financial PR and as a business reporter on BBC World, Jayne is an ideal choice for corporate and financial services clients. She has hosted a number of live events and broadcasts for organisations in this sector including Barclays, Legal & General, Lloyds TSB, NFU Mutual and Prudential.
