Suzanne co-presents the BBC regional news programme, Midlands Today, from Birmingham. The weekday 6.30 programme is one of the most watched regional news programmes in the country.

Starting out as a trainee reporter at the Solihull Times, Suzanne passed her journalism exams and worked for Central News before moving onto the Sunday Mercury and the Birmingham Mail. Feeling the need to try a different area of journalism she went to the radio station BBC West Midlands before a return to Central News in the following year.

Suzanne’s career has included reporting from Westminster Abbey on the funeral of the late Princess Diana, interviewing the former Home Secretary, David Blunkett, on the controversial ID card scheme and presenting a special programme on the demise of Birmingham car maker MG Rover.

Suzanne is also a director of the Dance Xchange, a company encouraging youngsters of all backgrounds and abilities to learn to dance and is a friend to Birmingham Crisis Centre, a charity helping victims of domestic violence.
Suzanne is one of the main News presenters alongside Nick Owen on the BBC's West Midlands regional news, BBC Midlands Today.
