Sheila's sitcom 'Land of Hope and Gloria' was the first to star a black female lead in UK.

Sheila's West End performances include Always, Soul Train, Thoroughly Modern Millie and the internationally successful touring show Oh! What a Night and her first solo album A New Kind of Medicine won rave reviews in the national press.

She has been active in the Music Industry as a director of PAMRA, has also been a judge at the RIMA (Race in the Media Awards) and is a patron of the National Parenting Charity, Parentalk.
