She has worked as a presenter with BBC News 24 for over 7 years, before that she anchored the BBC's flagship evening news programme for London and the South East.

Gwenan presented and reported for the award-winning, BBC World, travel and holiday programme, Fast Track. She is a film maker and recently completed a documentary course at The National Film and Television School.

She is a trained musician and has presented for the Proms series on BBC2 and for the prestigious Cardiff Singer of the World competition, also for BBC2. She has also presented and reported for a number of consumer programmes, including Watchdog.

Gwenan was born and brought up in north Wales and is a fluent Welsh speaker. She has a strong interest in the arts - plays the piano and flute and is a member of Bafta.

Gwenan has a wealth of experience hosting events and award ceremonies, both at home and abroad.
