Born in New Zealand in 1958, Molly qualified as a physiotherapist in 1977, married her husband John when she was 20 and came to the UK in 1979. In the 1990's she was a head-teacher for two small inner-city school pilot programs, working closely with children, parents and teachers to experiment with new models of education. She home schooled each of her four children through their secondary school and A-level studies, including primary school for her youngest child.
For over 25 years she has been involved in active management, leadership development and mentoring within the international charity sector. Her passion for humanitarian causes led her to engage with some of the world's most vulnerable children and young people on all continents, working to break the cycle of poverty and transform communities worldwide.
Understanding that the world needed a new model of charity which gave greater transparency in its use of donor funds, in 2004 Molly pioneered the international ‘Global Angels Foundation’. With Global Angels’ “100% Promise”, which ensures that every penny donated by the public goes directly to carefully chosen projects on the ground, Molly is inspiring a radical shift in the charity world, encouraging a higher level of integrity and supporting the growing movement of those wanting to make a very real difference in the world.
Over the course of this time she has also practiced as a professional counsellor, psychotherapist and business coach within the charity, business and entertainment worlds.
