Anita Anand is a skilled BBC presenter with an impressive career in both tv and radio. As a presenter of the Daily Politics on BBC 2 1, Anita deals with lively, often combative debate as well as sensitive, personal feature interviews.

Her late night "Anita Anand show" was a mix of light, shade and downright surreal. A loyal listenership was often treated to a night of serious discussion about the top news story of the day mingled with emotional interviews of a deeply personal nature and a degree of fun and farce - (Darth Vader invaded the studio one evening). She also presented Heaven and Earth on BBC

As the presenter of Radio 5's Drive with Peter Allen, Anita presented one of the best loved news radio programmes in the country. It was a critically lauded partnership which ended when the new man in her life arrived - her baby son, Hari.

She can still be heard on Radio 4, presenting a number of programmes including excess baggage, Midweek and the Westminster Hour.

Anita knows what makes on stage discussions work and is a deft facilitator. As such, she is called upon many times to host large ticketed events. She has chaired debates at the London Assembly. She has hosted numerous charity events and conducted on stage interviews at Clarence House (interviewing David Attenburgh in front of a capacity crowd) and at literary festivals (she met her husband, author Simon Singh, in the green room of the Cheltenham Literary festival). She lives in London with her family.
BBC presenter and journalist Anita Anand is also a highly skilled event host and facilitator. Used to interviewing politicians live, she has an innate ability to coordinate lively debate and expertly chair all kinds of events.
