Former head girl Amy rose to fame in 2010 a when she was approached to appear in ITV2’s ‘The Only Way Is Essex.’ On leaving school she trained as a beautician therapist and loved working in the beauty industry but her life changed forever when she became an original TOWIE cast member.

The British public fell in love with Amy and she has amassed a huge fan base. She popularised the 'Essex' vocabulary with her terms such as 'well jel' and also started the new 'Vajazzle' craze in the UK.

Since leaving the show in 2011, her career has gone from strength to strength, especially after her high profile appearance on Celebrity Big Brother last year. She is in great demand as a speaker and event host; she has endorsed Caprice Lingerie and more recently Bra Queen for Ultimo.

Amy now has her own clothing range, the Amy Childs Collection, as well as a beauty salon and an extensive line of beauty products. She also writes a weekly column for New! Magazine and has presented her own regular beauty and fashion feature on ITV1's This Morning.
